Philip DeHart founded the firm after years of working in a boutique renewable energy and emerging technologies practice group.  He is dedicated to aiding small and medium sized companies at all stages of their life cycles.  Philip serves as outside general counsel to numerous businesses throughout Texas, advising them on a diversity of issues and in a broad range of industries.  He is a recognized authority particularly in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and energy project development, having lectured on both topics to attorney continuing education and industry seminars.  Philip shares a passion for working with early stage ventures in particular.  Having founded and worked with a variety of tech startups, he is acutely aware of the numerous pitfalls of deficient planning.  Outside the office Philip is a terrible (albeit enthusiastic cook) and an avid traveler.  He is married to his wife, Meighan, and they have a daughter.
